I've filed for my income tax return. I was set to get me some extra money ever since my very poor return for the year 2007. Like a couple of hundred! I'm excited to have a much heftier tax return. I have been planning on ways that I can treat myself this year. I haven't decided on what exactly I'll be getting, but here is where my mind is:
Playstation 3 (double purpose, gaming and blue-ray)
Wii (I prolly will get this for my birthday)
32" high definition LCD tv (always wanted one)
Wireless Keyboard and mouse (preferably rechargable)
Bally's membership for 1 year (summer is coming)
Rims and tires for my car (tired of replaciing hubcaps)
Headlights for my car (time to return the blinding favor)
A few suits dress shirts and ties (I outgrew my old ones)
Dress shoes (I'm a church boy, I like dress shoes!)
Sneakers (chucks, forces or shell toes)
Jeans (nothing too exotic, I'm not really flashy)
Well this looks like it could be my christmas list! Lol I guess my lists are geared to how much money I have and how much money I expect others to spend! I will try to manipulate my funds to get the most I can while placing some of it into my savings account!
Oh, I want a digital camera too! Tired of takin pics on my G1! Lol

well at least you had one sensible gift with the Ballys membership.
hopefully you are debt free since u are planning to go spend your return on electronics.
guess what i did with my income taxes this year?.....i put the money down for my new truck!!! lol
i know i should have saved some money but i worked hard for it all year so me and the kiddies spent it like water!!!

As for Bally's, you do know that they have filed for bankruptcy. You have to think what will you do if you show up one day at the door and there is a padlock on it, which I have seen happen to at least one other gym.

... ok, sorry. I'm back. I just had to cut a step for you and help you praise him. LOL
I work all year round, sometimes even have a low points where i cant afford much of anything. Ive come a long ways from where I was and this is my reward. i rarely get to treat myself. Currently, I dont have anybody to treat me! I dont ask for anything major for birthdays or holidays because i dont wish to burden people. Now, i have the means, im going to appreciate it for what it is. Money comes and goes. its wise to save, but how wise is it to have saved material things and cant enjoy the benefit cause you're dead and gone?
I thank God for the blessings ive received and for my blessings to come! i'll take a picture with my camera and post everything to blogger!
