I have filed paperwork for a Substitute Teaching Certificate in hopes of becoming a substitute teacher! lol
I have collected most of the money that is owed to me. rerouting it to pay for this certificate.
I have made moves in the direction of earning wages. OFF THE BOOKS!!! YAY
I am attempting to go back to school, Kean University to be specific. I'm excited on this new venture of my life. I would like to live in the dorms, we will see...
I have developed a backbone for speaking to my father about household matters and matters of our relationship.
I am bored!
2007 is coming to a close in 3 months and change. I would like to plan my holiday in advance and have some meaning to this holiday season. More joy if possible! Has anyone planned anything? Does anyone want to get together and plan something? Does anyone have suggestions on how I can make Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's day eventful?

Congrats pa! It'll come together for you and how! You need bored periods... you'll soon realize it's not really boredom, it's life's way of giving you a breather to think clearly and not be interrupted.

The year did go by quickly...I'm glad the sun, humidity and heat is gone! Summer, the worse time of year!

No comment on the teaching gig, because I don't know what the kids are like over in your neck of the woods....I will just wish you good luck. Follow your dream, my brother. Before you know it you will be old and bitter like me. No, I just kidding. I'm not old. LOL (Oh, and thanks for the encouragement on my comics. I am glad they make you smile).
Teaching...Ah, a noble profession, like us cops, with little respect or pay to match. Going back to school, huh? What will be your field of study, if I may ask.
will be majoring in secondary education. At the current moment I am bouncing grom home economics, nutrition and algebra as minors. i have to see how many of my credits transfer and that will determine how many minors i will be taking.
Teachers are the most important people on the planet and you will be a great one.
The on-campus experience is the best. I wouldn't trade it for anything, even though I was years older than everyone in my building (I was a seriously non traditional student). I say go for it. Shawn will survive. Become an R.A. He can be in your room with you all the time.
As for the holidays. I'm planning a gathering at the new place and I hope you will swing thru. I'm so proud of my space and I'm gonna dress it up for the holidays. It's gonna look like the Trim-a-Home shop at Macy's.
