I met Truly Scrumptious on this weekend. She was just so amazing and funny. Let me explain because the majority of you are lost!
On Friday night, the gang and I went over to Tyson's hotel/dorm room at the Hilton. He invited a friend over and we enjoyed a night full of cards, dancing, and laughter! To finish most of the night, we ended with a force fed movie of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! I have never seen this movie and was opposed to watching it! Everyone else was as well! But it was whatever, Tyson's room, Tyson's movie! We watched a healthy portion of the movie and I was surprised that I actually was getting into it! Then he turned it off. Oddly, comment was rendered, "From henceforth, I shall be called Truly Scrumptious"! I laughed and laughed! This came from the friend that Tyson invited over. He was funny, sarcastic, country and GAY! I loved it! I dubbed myself Chitty Chitty and others followed suit in picking their names! Simply delightful!
Food for thought: Is there any condition where cheating would be OK? Is there any condition where cheating would not be frowned on? If cheating was discussed beforehand, is it still called cheating since both parties know what is happening? Are there certain types of people who you shouldn't cheat with?

I think cheating is only based on what your conditions and boundries are on the relationship.
Cheating are actions that makes the other partner uncomfortable or jeapordizes the nature of the relationship.

If both parties agree to cheat, it's called an open relationship.
I think as long as the couple has a rock solid relationship and has a deep understanding of the potential cons of cheating (most of us already know what pros are), then happy cheating! LOL
well there are two ways to looking at this:
- multilateral: if the two of you go to an orgy and decide to share with your friends.. well that is not cheating
- unilateral: if you decide to go to an orgy without your partner or without informing your partner that you plan to be sharing your goodies... u know.. less than fully informed... well that sure smells like cheating..
@ thismightbeme: No not on an episode of cheaters! I encountered a situation that I misinterpreted. I thought this individual was cheating on his BF but turned out they had broken up. I still wanted to ask the question though...
Some people view looking at another is a wrong way is cheating. Do you think more cheating occurs in homosexual relationships as opposed to Heterosexual relationships? Why? Give me ya'lls opinion on those too!
I agree with sean stone, if both parties agree to cheat its an open relationship. But damn sounds like fri was fun and I missed it :-(

Hmmmmmmm... Ok Friday was the crazy day I got it. I'm depressed! Evidently Sprint disconnects my service between 7 pm Friday and 7 am Monday because it doesn't ring or vibrate. (Tear)
Moving on, agree with the characterization of an open relationship, I agree with the 'unilateral' and 'bilateral' (If you got multiples, WHEW what a relationship! LoL). There's nothing left for me to say cause you guys are too smart for me. :-)
So many things to say. For me, the word cheating means that one side of the relationship doesn't know about the encounter. Like what has already been said, if both know, then it is an open relationship and only the latter is ok (in my book).
I don't know if looking constitutes as cheating but if you look too long and hard, then you'll eventually want it. What you do from there ...?

cheating is never ok but like shawn said it is based on what boundaries you set... that was random as hell for that post by the way

I love Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. It just came on a couple of weeks ago and I watched it. I loved looking at it growning up. I'm surprised you have never seen it before. I love the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang song.
