Motivated!

In a recent conversation with Dapper D, I was motivated. I am about to come to an end of the school year and I have not yet found a job. I am not worried, but nonetheless I don't have a job lined up. Time is winding up! I said that I didn't know whether I was going to try to stay with education, the culinary field, or go back to retail. All are areas that I am excellent in. He told me that I should stick with what I know in my field of expertise!

My expertise would be cooking. While I am good with the other areas, I have education in the culinary field. I did not want to work for someone else due to the long work hours and the weekend hours. I have been saying for some time that I cater. I have never put any motion into doing some business cards. I think that will be step one. Develop some business cards. Step two will be to develop a standard menu to give a general idea of what I am capable of doing with prices.

I will get a part time job somewhere so that I may be able to devote some time to catering. There is nothing like being your own boss. If all goes well I can start going forth with bigger and better ideas. Having or renting a kitchen. Then possibly moving to a facility where I can house banquet events. I was excited in thought of how great my potential can and will be I got even happier! This is going to be an empowering year for me, and it is almost half gone! I am making moves!!! Progress is on the way, and I am prepared to catch it!

My friend you are on the right path. Dapper D is a great advisor.

Learn the trade and be your own boss. Just soak up all the experience that you can because it will prepare you for your own business.

I'm proud of you and know that with struggle comes progress. So don't give up on this dream man.

Don't worry about work, its the end of the year so the school system will need you just about everyday, so just put some money aside. Find what makes you happy and go for it.

Yea, potential is great, isn't it? But potential is only as good as the catalyst behind it. Make it happen man. If you think you can, you can. I've got some ideas along your same line of thinking...can't reveal them just yet though.

Hey baby, I'm glad you happy. Keep up that motivation because when the winds blow, you will need the strenght in these times to make it through. That and a little crown royal.

With Love,
Mrs. Mabel

Yo Fuzz, I am so glad that you are not worried. It is great to have a direction more than a plan and submit to the moment. Only then will you be able to truly realize lifes purpose right in front of you.

YAY!!!!

I really need to take a page from your book. I've been meaning to have cards made for a while now.

I cant wait to go to "Fuzzy's" when it opens.

And, I think that the Summer is a perfect time to start your catering...People are ALWAYS hosting some event/party that needs YOUR services!

Good Luck!

;-)

Fuzzy I am pleased to hear that you have completed your course of study and have attained the necessary papers to move on into the professional World of Culinary.

No job lined up? Oh yeah brotha you had better start loking and accept something, you do not want to have to go without if you do not have too and start building that resume.

You do have a great idea about starting your own business (no better boss than yourself) the catering business can be very profitable in fact it is a very lucrative business.

There is no doubt you will be a very good businessman thanks to your expertise.

Good luck with the catering. Maybe a tasting party for some of the local organizations you know about might drum up some regular business. Only give them little plates..LOL
