Can I get my feet wet?

I'm very fresh to blog world. I don’t quite know how it works. All I know is that my boyfriend has one that looks really nice and I want one too! If anybody that might read this and have any pointers to give me, all suggestions are welcome!

I guess for my first entry it should be about myself since nobody knows me. I'm a fresh 21 y/o that has his plate full with the events of everyday life. I'm a fulltime student at The Culinary Arts Institute, located in Jersey City, NJ. I'm going to be getting my AAS Degree in Culinary and Pastry Arts this coming December. I'm excited about that because of the many obstacles that I had to overcome and the blockades that I had to clear to even get this far. At the same time, I never thought that the road that I'm on would be the road I would have taken.

Side note, yesterday was my two-month anniversary with my boyfriend! It seems so incredibly short but feels so much longer. I value, appreciate and adore him. Reason being, I never thought I'd find a man that wouldn't use and abuse me. I thought I'd never find a man who wouldn't play any games and who would search within me to discover the essence of me. When I went to go pick him up from the train station, he had a balloon in his hand with a card, which was handwritten with his personal thoughts. I got all cloudy eyed! I was sooo touched!
