Its been a long time since my last post. Been frustrated trying to get this apartment together so that I may dwell there in peace! Things have been going wrong ever since I signed that lease but its going to be just fine! This, I'm sure of! Its been said that my apartment will be ready on tuesday the 14th of April. I'll be happy when I see it done! I have my bathroom together for the most part. My kitchen is together for the most part. My bedroom will come thogether when the carpet goes in on the 14th. (UPDATED INFO on 4/15: the carpet still isnt done! Maybe this thursday it will be done! Trying not to be agitated!!!)The only room that isn't established as of yet is the living room / eating area. I'm thinkin of furniture that will be assembled. Twin and I managed to get a fridge in the place by the grace of God! I don't wanna go through all of that lifting. I was thinking, and taking heed to other's suggestions of having a Housewarming Party. This will make my apartment official. The date will be May 17th, which is a Sunday. I will be having food, which type I'm not sure... there will be Mac n cheese and chicken of course! Shoot me some suggestions! Mark the date, May 17th. You all are invited. Registry info will be coming soon...
April 27th will mark 3 years for me on blogger! I haven't done this in awhile, so I'm opening the lines for questions! Shoot out ya questions and I'll answer them. Ask me something that you've always wanted an answer for, embarass me! Ask what you may. The answers will be posted on April 27th.

I feel ya, The Voice is moving on May 1st (with roomies) and there is A LOT to do (painting, new bedroom furniture, bathroom stuff, new TV, packing, etc.) - good luck and congratulations man (re: the move and the anniversary)!!!

Food suggestion..im thinking of my late Aunt (RIP) and her orange and green sherbet ice cream and sprite in big bigs those are ALWAYS a hit. That and swedish meatballs which you can dip in barbecue sauce!

It seems like everybody started blogging in the springtime. My 4-year anniversary is May 2.
The housewarming sounds like fun. Hell, maybe I'll be all moved in by then myself.

I am pleased to hear that you are in the apartment however; I am sorry to hear that your apartment was not move in ready, but that happens and for you to be getting new carpet is worth the wait, you do not want the carpet the previous tenant had, so be patient. The primary rooms are in working order (bath & Kkitchen).
